WHY SACKING AVB WILL MAKE ABRAMOVICH LOOK LIKE A DORK

YES. Chelsea have been disappointing. YES. Andre Vilas Boas has lost control of his squad and he is going gaga making strange comments about his players to the press (the most recent being about FERNANDO TORRES). They are conceding soft goals and been attacking at a pedestrian pace. But Andre Vilas Boas should not be fired. He is not doing a very good job at the helm currently, but he certainly doesn’t deserve the criticism he has been receiving the entire season. He should just be left alone for now.

If this wasn’t enough for the Chelsea manager, he also has to deal with this mean Russian owner of his who is like a cross between Simon Covell and Henri VIII. Roman Abramovich has already made two huge mistakes in sacking Mourinho and Ancelotti. He does not know what to do with managers. He is just a hothead guy with lots of money who has no clue about football. I personally hope he never wins the Champions League because he is an absolute cock.
Consider the Liverpool situation. The big money moves have all flopped, Liverpool look like outsiders to Champions league qualification places and the club is having to mask the poorly handled racism affair. However they still are in the FA cup and narrowly beat Cardiff City in the Mickey Mouse cup finals, also their attacks have no direction either. Comparatively, AVB has gone into a new country with a team that was never going to compete for the title regardless of who the manager was, I am not saying they are far off, but it’s just the team they have isn’t anywhere close to the likes of Manchester City. And even though AVB’s man management and tactics have been flawed of the highest order, some of his player’s behaviour and form have also been disastrous. Chelsea are old and creaking, Their defence now is a gaping hole which just doesn’t seem to close shut. Watching them defend is horrifying, In the match against Birmingham City, where the ball eventually made its way past six Chelsea defenders before being buried, Quite Messi-esque. The whole thing was monstrosity of the highest order. Florent Malouda, Raul Merieles, Jose Bosingwa have all been either inconsistent or lacklustre(No wonder torres cant score because Bosingwa is a pathetic defender coupled with over rated attacking skills).

And have I been missing someone else? Oh Yeah!! David Luiz, another player who has contributed nothing but goals at the opposite end of the pitch. Seemingly any team is sure to score against Chelsea if Luiz is at the heart of the defence. Chelsea spent 21 million pounds on a player who could probably play better as a trequartista on FIFA12. He is fantastic going forward, but a loophole at the back. Just to make things sound better, move Luiz into midfield because he has a brilliant vision, good dribbling ability and intercepts the ball well. To make things look more optimistic, Oriol Romeu should evolve into a player that would be fantastic in a water carrier role [yeah, the same one that parker does quite brilliantly at Tottenham], which will also make Chelsea’s defence tougher. Once he starts playing regularly, Chelsea can be far better going forward and lethal on the counter.

And to be fair on AVB, he did not buy FERNANDO I-Can’t-Score TORRES. He just had this rubbish inherited. After paying 50 million quids for him, Chelsea want to see him succeed badly. Sadly it’s the other way around. Agreed he is providing assists, but his shooting has been agonizingly poor. Even Rosicky, Bacary Sagna have scored more than him this year (And I guess Johnny Evans too?).However AVB bought Juan Manuel Mata, Which is WOW. He is also concerned about the futures of yonug players like Ryan Bertrand and Josh McEachran, which is why he loaned McEachran out so that he could experience more playing time. AVB is willing to try things and after a full season in the EPL, he surely will put this experience to vital use.
He came in with a three year plan. And to fair enough we should be aware that before Chelsea and AVB make huge strides forward they need to step back a wee bit. So let’s cut the guy some slack. Yes 2012 has been ugly for Chelsea. But negativity cannot help with anything expect for catastrophic results. Chelsea need to get younger and while AVB accomplishes that, let’s give the guy some breathing space. Chelsea still are in good shape to finish among the top four, they still are in the FA cup (although barely) and are a 2-0 win away from the champions league quarter finals. Though it’s an extremely optimistic proposition, I couldn’t care less if they fail to do it because its transistion time and a setback was expected. I still feel if they give him time (which Abramovich probably won’t) then he will come good. Also Chelsea have spent 13 million on this guy and unless they finish 7th or lower and more than 20 points behind the leader, he should stay. He needs to be given the time and security any young manager needs. He may lead lead the sack race but he is still the future of the club.

P.S For those who aren’t aware, Chelsea are considering bringing in Benitez for AVB which will be decided at a summit meeting called upon by Abramovich this coming Friday.
